RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA ACCEPTING BIDS APdD AV7ARDING CONTRACT FOR GROUNDS
PZAINTENANCE EQUIPD~lENT
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the attached five bids were received and opened
at 3:00 p.m. on the 27th day of September, 1976, in the office of
the Purchasing Agent of the City of Chula Vista for the purchase
of the following grounds maintenance equipment:

9 One Lawn Mower Grinder Public Works
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that said contract be
awarded to B. Hayman Co., Inc. for items 1, 3, 6, 7, 8 and 9, and
to Chula Vista Lawnmower Co. for items 2, 4 and 5 who have assured
the City that they are licensed vendors in the State of California
and can produce an acceptable performance bond.
rdOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Chula Vista does hereby accept said five bids, and does hereby
award the contract for items 1, 3, 6, 7, 8 and 9 to B. Hayman Co., Inc.,
and for items 2, 4, and 5 does hereby award the contract to Chula Vista
Lawnmower Co. to be completed in accordance with the specifications
as approved by the Purchasing Agent of the City of Chula Vista.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Agent of the
City of Chula Vista be, and he is hereby authorized and directed
to execute said contract for and on behalf of the City of Chula
Vista.
