RESOLUTION NO. 8385
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
ACCEPTING GRANT OF EASEMENT FROM GREATER LVESTERN REAL
ESTATE INVESTMENT TRUST
FOR DRAINAGE PURPOSES
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that that certain grant of
easement by corporation Grant for drainage ourDOSes
executed by Greater Western Real Estat
dated the ~9t day of October ]~, a copy o w ich
is attached herete and by this reference made a part hereof, the same
as though fully set forth herein be, and the same is hereby accepted
by the City of Chula Vista for drainage purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of
Chula Vista be, and she is hereby authorized and directed to record
the document in the office of the San Diego County Recorder.

purposes of constructing, maintaining, operating and replacing drainage
failities under, along, over and across
the following described real property in the Clty of Chula V1Sta
County of San Diego ,State of California:
as per the attached Exhibit "A", incorporated herein by
reference as if set forth fully, including the City's right
to enter upon said property of grantor for purposes of
development of the above-described easement.
Title pursuant to this Grant Deed shall pass only upon the
receipt by the City of Chula Vista of a grant of federal funds
pursuant to the Local Public Works Capital Development and
Investment Program for the development of an improved drainage
structure within the area described above in Exhibit "A".

That portion of Quarter Section No. 142 of Map of Chula Vista per
Map No. 505 on file with the County Recorder of San Diego County,
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Quarter Section 142; thence
South 70°51'03" West along the Southerly line of said Quarter Section,
a distance of 581.87 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING of the center-
line of a 40 foot wide strip of land, the centerline of which is de-
scribed as follows:
Beginning at the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, thence North O1°35'03" East
a distance of 318.11 feet; thence North 2°54'10" East a distance of
532.27 feet to a point of tangency on a curve, concave to the East,
having a radius of 440 feet; thence Northerly and Easterly along said
curve through a central angle of 36°15'OQ" a distance of 278.38 feet;
thence tangent to said curve North 39°09'10" East a distance of 134.30'
to the Easterly line of said Quarter Section 142, being the terminus
of the centerline of said strip of land.
Excepting therefrom alI street right of way and. that portion of said
strip of land within the Easterly 140 feet of Lot 20 and the Northerly
30 feet of the Easterly 140 feet of Lot 21 of said Map. No. 505.
