ITEM EXPLANATION l/~ On May 14, 1976, Tom Silvers of Tucker, Sadler and Associates, on behalf of Adma Company, Inc., owners of the properties at the southwest corner of Otay Lakes Road and Bonita Road, submitted an application with the required $50 fee to request a deferral of undergrounding the 12 KV power lines along the west side of Otay Lakes Road, in accordance with Section 15.32.040 of the Chula Vista Municipal Code. Section 15.32.040 of the City Code provides that the Council may defer the requirements of undergrounding existing utility lines, if the Council finds evidence presented at the Public Hearing that all of the following facts exist: 1. That extraordinary conditions exist to the extent that enforcement of this subsection would result in unnecessary hardship to the owners or the utility company.
