RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA APPROVING PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPP4ENT PUD-76-1 -
ROBINHOOD POINT
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Chula Vista
previously considered application PUD-76-1 for the approval of a
Planned Unit Development known as Robinhood Point on April 12, 1976,
and
WHEREAS, said Planning Commission by a vote of 5-0 recom-
mended that the City Council approve the Planned Unit Development -
Robinhood Point subject to the conditions attached in their Planning
Commission Resolution No. PUD-76-1, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, following the consideration of
public testimony on May 4, 1976, finds it in the best interests of
the City of Chula Vista to approve said Planned Unit Development -
Robinhood Point, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Environmental Review
Committee by prior action that the Environmental Impact Report pre-
pared for Brandywine Units 3 and 4 is sufficient to cover the scope
of all impacts originating by virtue of this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Chula Vista does hereby find that said Environmental Impact
Report for Brandywine Units 3 and 4 is sufficient to cover all
adverse environmental effects created by virtue of this project and
that said impacts are considered prior to the approval of the Planned
Unit Development - Robinhood Point.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Planned Unit Development -
Robinhood Point is hereby approved subject to all conditions set
forth in the Chula Vista Municipal Code and those conditions called
out in Planned Unit Development Resolution PUD-76-1 of the Planning
Commission of the City of Chula Vista, provided, however, the follow-
ing modifications and amendments to said resolution shall be made:
1. There shall be added thereto a new paragraph 7F pro-
hibiting garage conversions in said planned unit development, which
condition shall be placed in the conditions, covenants and restric-
tions subject to the approval of the City Attorney and the City
shall be a party to said conditions, covenants and restrictions.
2. A condition shall be added to said resolution requir-
ing that all of the houses within the planned unit development
shall comply with the minimum standard for square footage of housing
as set forth in the zoning ordinance of the City of Chula Vista.
3. That condition no. 16 be deleted and current require-
ments for in lieu park land fees be substituted therefor.
