RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA GRANTING AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR THE CONTRACT
TO CONSTRUCT TRAFFIC SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS IN CHULA
VISTA - FAU PROJECT NO. M-S163(1)
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, Perry Electric has requested a time extension due
to delay in receipt of the controllers for Third Avenue/L Street and
Industrial Boulevard/L Street which is primarily due to the length
of time necessary to receive the controller from the manufacturer
and the FAU requirement that the controllers be tested by the State
of California prior to field installation, and
WHEREAS, Caltrans and FHWA have agreed to a time extension
of 10 working days after the controllers are released from the testing
lab, and the Director of Public Works has reviewed said time extension
request and feels that it is justified.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Chula Vista that the time for the contract to construct
traffic signal improvements in Chula Vista - FAU Project No. M-S163(1)
be, and the same is hereby extended from June 1, 1977 to and until
10 working days after the controllers are released from the testing lab.
