HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1977-8481r RESOLUTION NO. 8481 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA RECOGNIZING THE STATE OF NEBRASKA AS HAVING THE MOST ATTENDANCE DURING THE BICENTENNIAL ALL- STATES PROGRAM The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the City of Chula Vista in 1976 completed a Bicentennial All-States Program, and WHEREAS, as a part of that program during the week when a particular state was being saluted by the City Council, those citizens of Chula Vista from said state were invited to attend the City Council meeting and receive refreshments after the pre- sentation of the All-States proclamation, and WHEREAS, the citizens of Chula Vista from the State of Nebraska turned out in greater numbers than any of the other states. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista that those citizens of Chula Vista from the State of Nebraska be, and the same are hereby commended for their demonstration of loyalty to their home state and their fine attendance at the City Council meeting of July 6, 1976.
