ITEM TITLE: Resolution #8532 :Accepting Off Site Drainage Easement Adjacent
to Robinhood Point Unit 2 Subdivision

ITEM EXPLANATION
The developer of Robinhood Point Unit 2 Subdivision submitted grading
plans to the Director of Public Works which have been approved. The
Director of Public Works has also issued a grading permit for the per-
formance of the grading within this subdivision.
As part of the grading operation, the developer will be installing
a storm drain within Sequoia Street. This storm drain begins approxi-
mately 80 feet easterly of the subdivision boundary which lies within
property owned by the County of San Diego.
The County of San Diego was requested to grant a drainage easement for
this storm drain and appurtenant drainage facilities. On February 8,
1977, the County Board of Supervisors approved the granting of the required
drainage easement to the City of Chula Vista. Conveyance of this ease-
ment to the City gives the City the right to fence any portion of the
easement and to maintain the drainage facilities. The County has reserved
the right to enclose any portion of the drainage facility and the priv-
ledge to use the land within the drainage easement.
If the easement is not used by the City for a period of six months,
all rights granted upon 90 days notice by the County shall revert to
