ITEM TITLE: Resolution l.~~i~,~Accepting Easement for Sewer Purposes in the
Bonita Ridge Estates Unit No. 4 Subdivision

ITEM EXPLANATION
The developer of Bonita Ridge Estates No. 4 Subdivision submitted a request
to the City for a revision to the approved site plan and improvement plans
affecting Lots 195, 196, 197, 198 and 219. The revision to the site plan
and improvement plans has been approved by the Planning Department and
the Department of Public Works. The revision approved the relocation
of a private driveway and sewer serving these lots.
One of the conditions of approval of the revision to the improvement
plans was that the developer grant an easement for the sewer in its
relocated position. The developer, Bonita Hills Properties, granted
the required easement on February 3, 1977.
The developer has also filed a request with the Engineering staff to
vacate the original easement which was dedicated on the final map. The
Engineering staff has initiated proceedings for the vacation of the
original easement. In accordance with the Public Service Easement Vaca-
tion Law in the State of California, the City Council will be taking action
on this request in the near future.
It is appropriate at this time for the City Council to accept the easement
granted by Bonita Hills Properties on February 3, 1977.
