rho del Rey, Unit No. 5 Subdivision has been checked
and found to be in conformity with the Tentative
Council on November 16, 1976 by Resolution No. 8419.
E1 Rancho del Rey, subdivider, has paid all fees and submitted letters of
credit and required documents. Approval of the Final Map includes the dedi-
catiion of portions of Telegraph Canyon Road, East "J" Street, Douglas Street,
Entx%ada Place, Bien Tiempo Drive; also, Paseo del Rey, Bajo Drive, Calma
Pla~e, Cholla Place, Del Rey Place, Anza Way, Mesa Court, Calma Drive,
Cho la Road, Arroyo Drive, Arroyo Court, Bajo Court, Loma View and Roca
Place. Also the dedication of easements for storm drainage and channel,
sewer and street tree purposes and Lots "A", "B", "C" and "D" for open space,
park! and other public uses.
A public hearing for the deferral of the requirement to underground an over-
hea 12 KV distribution line within the subdivision along the SDG&E easement
is slcheduled for November 29, 1977.
A request for the release and vacation of a portion of Open Space Lot "A"
in South Bay Villas Subdivision was recommended by the Planning Commission
on ovember 9, 1977. The vacation is required to provide dedicated street
fro~tage to Lot 324 in E1 Rancho del Rey Unit No. 5. At tonight's Council
mee~,ing there is an agenda item declaring the City's intention to vacate
thin portion of Open Space Lot "A".
Thelfinal map includes the reservation of Lot 270 for street purposes for
5 years or until potential development of adjacent area is determined,

FINANCIAL IMPACT
The ity is participating in the cost of acquiring offsite right-of-way
for elegraph Canyon Road. $153,300 is currently available in Gas Tax
Proj ct 74 for Telegraph Canyon Road. The City will have to assume the
cost~lof maintenance upon acceptance of the improvements.
