ITEM TITLE Resolution #8833: Accepting Public Improvements, Broadway Storm
Drain, "J" Street to "K" Street.

The Carver Corporation has completed the construction of the subject
project awarded by City Council Resolution 8638 on May 24, 1977. The
Contract is dated June 28, 1977.
A final inspection was made on September 15, 1977 and all work was found
to be completed in accordance with Contract Documents and to the satis-
faction of the Director of Public Works.
This project consisted of constructing a storm drain in Broadway
southerly of "J" Street to intercept runoff within the "J" Street
basin lying between Fifth Avenue and Broadway and between "J" and
"K" Streets.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
The project contract amount was $47,709.18 including change order #1.
The total project construction cost is $47,504.68.
The project balance is $204.50
On acceptance of work the City will assume the maintenance of the facility.
