The City Council, by Resolution No. 7735, approved an agreement between
the State of California and the City for joint participation in the
realignment of North Glover Avenue. Contained in agreement SA4803,
between the State of California and the City of Chula Vista, the State
of California agreed to grant a drainage easement for the storm drain
across the Department of Motor Vehicle site. This storm drain, con-
structed as part of the improvements, lies between North Glover Avenue
and Third Avenue. The City Council has accepted the storm drain im-
provements. The easement is required so that City may have entry to
the site to maintain and make any needed repairs to the drainage facility.
The State of California, Department of General Services, Real Estate
Services Division, has prepared an agreement and Grant of Easement for
the storm drain lying within the new Department of Motor Vehicles site.
The State of California has submitted the required documents to Engineer-
ing staff for submission to the City Council and their approval. Upon
approval of this agreement by the City Council, the executed documents
will be sent to the State of California, Department of General Services
for further processing and approval by the State. Upon approval of
the agreement and Grant of Easement by the State, the original of the
documents will be recorded in the Office of the San Diego County Recorder.
Recordation of this agreement and Grant of Easement will complete all
obligations between the State of California and City of Chula Vista
in accordance with the terms of agreement SA4803.

AGREEMENT AND GRANT OF EASEMENT FOR STORM DRAIN PIPE LINE -
DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES SITE, CHULA VISTA
The Chula Vista City Council, on September 20, 1977, by Resolu-
tion No. 8826, approved the agreement and grant of easement for
storm drain pipe line across the Department of Motor Vehicles
site in Chula Vista. Enclosed are the following documents:
1. Original and three copies of the agreement and grant of
easement executed by the Mayor pro tempore of the City of
Chula Vista.
2. Three certified copies of City Council Resolution No. 8826,
approving the agreement and grant of easement for storm drain
pipe line across the Department of Motor Vehicles site in
Chula Vista.
After the agreement and grant of easement for the storm drain
pipe line have been executed by the State, please return the
original by certified return receipt mail to: Jennie M. Fulasz,
P. O. Box 1087, Chula Vista, CA 92012. The Chula Vista City
Clerk will have the original document filed in the Office of
the San Diego County Recorder.
