RESOLUTION N0. 8828
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA APPROVING PRECISE PLAN FOR CANYON PLAZA SHOPPING
CENTER AND CERTIFYING THE ENVIROND'IENTAL IMPACT REPORT
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista has
heretofore received the recommendation of the Planning Commission,
as contained in Resolution No. PCM-78-4, adopted on the 24th day of
August, 1977 setting forth the precise plan for the development of
Phase I of a retail shopping center located on 11.2 acres of land
on the north side of Telegraph Canyon Road between Halecrest and
Crest Drive in the C-C-P zone, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista has
heretofore held a public hearing to consider said precise plan on
October 4, 1977, and has taken testimony and heard evidence thereon,
and
WHEREAS, Telegraph Canyon Group, Ltd. contracted with
Project Design Consultants, an environmental consultant listed by
the City of Chula Vista as qualified for the preparation of environ-
mental impact reports for the City, and
WHEREAS, Project Design Consultants submitted information
to the City of Chula Vista for the preparation of a draft Supplement
to EIR-74-3 and after independent review and analysis of said infor-
mation, the Environmental Review Committee of the City of Chula
Vista issued a draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Report on
said proposed precise plan, and
WHEREAS, a notice of completion was filed with the Secretary
of Resources for the State of California and a legal notice of avail-
ability of said draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Report was
given, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Chula Vista
held a public hearing on said draft Supplemental Environmental Impact
Report and adopted a final Supplemental Impact Report.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Chula Vista does hereby certify that Supplemental EIR-74-3 has
been reviewed and the information considered, and that it has been
prepared in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act
of 1970, as amended, the California Administrative Code, and the
Environmental Review Policy of the City of Chula Vista.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Chula Vista does hereby approve the precise plan for the development
of Phase I of a retail shopping center located on 11.2 acres of land
on the north side of Telegraph Canyon Road between Halecrest and Crest
Drive in the C-C-P zone in accordance with Resolution No. PCM-78-4 of
the Chula Vista Planning Commission with the addition of condition
no. 18 to read as follows:
"The developer shall construct a five foot wide P.C.C.
sidewalk along the entire Halecrest Drive frontage of
the project. Said sidewalk shall be located immediately
adjacent to the existing curb."

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in addition to those conditions
as listed in Resolution No. PCM-78-4 that the rear - north side - of
the shopping center shall be designed in such a way that it will be
compatible with the residences on the north side of the property
especially in regard to the loading dock construction and operation.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA ACCEPTING LOT "E" IN MYLO OCEAN VIEW ESTATES,
UNIT NO, 1 SUBDIVISION AND DEDICATING AS EAST ONEIDA
STREET
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista has
heretofore approved a final subdivision map of that certain sub-
division known as Mylo Ocean View Estates, Unit No, 1 on May 27,
1959, and
WHEREAS, at the time of said approval, the City rejected
the offer of dedication for a certain lot designated as Lot "E" on
said final map reserving said lot for a future street, and
WHEREAS, said lot designated as Parcels 620-225-09 and
620-225-11 are to be sold by the state for collection of delin-
quent taxes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Chula Vista that said Lot "E" of Mylo Ocean View
Estates, Unit No. 1 designated as Parcels 620-225-09 and 620-225-11
be, and the same is hereby accepted and dedicated as a public street
and named EAST ONEIDA STREET,
