RESOLUTION N0.8802
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
ORDERING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF QUINTARD STREET AND
TOBIAS DRIVE ADJACENT TO SHEPHERDVILLE SUBDIVISION
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 8751 adopted on the 2nd
day of August 1977 notice of intention to vacate and
close a portion of Quintard Street and Tobias Drive adjacent to
Shepherdville Subdivision
in the City of Chula Vista was given, and
WHEREAS, Tuesday , the 23rd day of August ,
1977 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council ..Chambers of the City of Chula Vista
were fixed as the time and place for hearing any objections to such clos-
ing and vacating, and the Council having heard all interested persons.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Chula Vista that that certain portion of Quintard Street and Tobias Drive
more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this
reference made a part hereof, the same as though fully set forth herein
be, and the same is hereby vacated.

QUINTARD STREET VACATION
LEGAL DESCRIPTION
Those portions of Tobias Drive and Quintard Street
adjacent to Lot 30 in Quarter Section 119 of Chula Vista
according to map thereof No. 505 filed in the office of the
County Recorder, County of San Diego, State of California,
described as follows:
The northerly 12.00 feet of said Quintard Street lying
southerly of and adjacent to the westerly 264 feet of the easterly
290' of said Lot 30 and the westerly 4.00 feet of the easterly 30
feet of said Lot 30.
EXCEPTING therefrom the following described area:
Beginning at the souteast corner of said Lot 30 of Quarter
Section 119, thence along the prolongation of the easterly lot
line of said Lot 30 a distance of 40.00 feet to the centerline
of Quintard Street, said centerline being the southerly line of
said Quarter Section 119; thence along said centerline and said
southerly Quarter Section line S71°29'20"W a distance of 48.12
feet; thence N18°30'40"W a distance of 28.00 feet to the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING, said point being the beginning of a 22 foot
radius curve, concave northwesterly, whose center bears N18°30'40"W;
thence easterly and northerly along said curve through a central
angle of 90°08'30", a distance of 34.61 feet to a point which is
26 feet westerly from the easterly lot line of said Lot 30; thence
S18°39'10"E parallel with said easterly lot line a distance of
22.5 feet to a point 28 feet northerly of said southerly Quarter
Section line and centerline of Quintard Street. Thence S71°29'20"W
parallel with said centerline and southerly Quarter Section line
22.05 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
