HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1983-11202 Revised 4/13/83 RESOLUTION NO. 11202 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA DESIGNATING THE CITY MANAGER AS THE AGENT FOR THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA FOR THE PURPOSE OF OBTAIN- ING FEDERAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE UNDER PUBLIC LAW 93-288 The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista that John Goss, City Manager of the City of Chula Vista, is hereby authorized to execute for and in behalf of the City of Chula Vista, a public entity established under the laws of the State of California, the application for Federal financial assistance under Public Law 93-288 and to file it in the appropriate State office for the purpose of obtaining certain Federal financial assistance under the Disaster Relief Act (Public Law 288, 93rd Congress) or otherwise available from the President's Disaster Relief Fund. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Chula Vista, a public entity established under the laws of the State of California, aereby authorizes its agent to provide to the State and to the Federal Emergency Management (FEMA) for all matters pertaining to such Federal disaster assistance the assurances and agreements, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as if set forth in full.
