Fritz A. Nachant, Inc. $11,218.15 5. D/K Construction Company $18,891.00 The low bid submitted by H.L. Foster Construction Company was $292.25, or 4.7o below the Engineer's estimate of $6,270.00. Community Development Block Grant Funds will be used for construction of this project. Maintenance costs will not increase since this is replacement of concrete surfacing. STAFF RECOMMENDATION 1. City Council authorize the expenditure of $6,575.53 from Wheel- chair Ramp BG-42 account number 631-6310-BG42 for this project. 2. City Council accept bids and award contract to H.L. Foster Con- struction Company in the amount of $5,977.75.
