HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1989-13969 1521 Revised 2/15/89 RESOLUTION NO. 13969 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROVING A QUITCLAIM DEED AND CONVEYING SEVENTY-FIVE SQUARE FEET OF LOT 7 OF TOWN CENTRE TOWNSITE TRACT NO. 2 TO CENTRE CITY ASSOCIATES, LIMITED--COMMERCIAL WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista desires to assist the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Chula Vista in its redevelopment efforts within the Town Centre I Project; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that due to special circumstances, which is to avoid the need for expensive plan modifications that will discourage development of Lot 1, it is in the best interest of the City to sell seventy-five square feet of publicly owned property described on Attached Exhibit A to Centre City Associates, Limited--Commercial (CCAL-C) in accordance with Sections 2.56.170 B.4, and 2.56.230 of the Chula Vista Municipal Code. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista as follows: The City Council hereby approves a quitclaim deed for the conveyance of seventy-five square feet of Lot 7 ' of Town Centre Townsite, Tract No. 2 to Centre City Associates, Limited--Commercial, attached as Exhibit B, for consideration of $3,750, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said deed.
