HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1978-8991RESOLUTION N0. 8991 as follows: RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA FINDING NO SIGNIFICANT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT- DUE TO THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROJECTS The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve WHEREAS, the Environmental Review Committee of the City of Chula Vista has prepared an Environmental Review Record to determine if the following projects proposed as part of the Community Development Block Grant Program could have any possible significant impact on the environment: 1. Rehabilitation Loans (ERR-76-9) 2. Economic Development (ERR-76-6) 3. Senior Citizen Center (ERR-76-1) 4. Code Enforcement (ERR-76-8) 5. Feaster School Park Improvements (ERR-78-5) 6. Memorial Park Improvements (ERR-78-6) 7. Crime Prevention Program (ERR-78-4) 8. Street Improvements (ERR-78-1) and 9. Removal of Architectural Barriers (ERR-78-2) 10. Storm Sewer - Central Basin Drainage Culvert (ERR-78-3) 11. Orange Avenue Improvements (County ERR-78-BG-31) WHEREAS, a notice of the proposed finding of no significant impact was given in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, and WHEREAS, all other agencies having jurisdiction by law and all other responsible agencies have been consulted to obtain comments with regard to the environmental consequences of the above noted projects, and WHEREAS, the Environmental Review Committee found that these projects would have no possible significant impact on the environment and forwarded the attached finding of no significant impact, ERR-76-9, ERR-76-6. ERR-76-1, ERR-76-8, ERR-78-5, ERR-78-6, ERR-78-4, ERR-78-1, ERR-78-2, ERR-78-3 and County ERR-78-BG-31, to the City Council of the City of Chula Vista for their consideration, and WHEREAS, said finding of no significant impact has been available to agencies having jurisdiction by law, all responsible agencies, and to the public for an adequate period of time for their review and comment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista as follows: 1. That the City Council of the City of Chula Vista adopts as its record of this finding of no possible significant impact the Council agenda statement on this agenda item and all of the attachments thereto. 2. That the City Council of the City of Chula Vista finds in accordance with the recommendation of the Environmental Review Committee and the attached finding of no significant impact that the proposed Community Development Block Grant Program projects will not have any possible significant impact on the environment, and the attached finding of no significant impact, incorporated herein by reference as if set forth fully, has been prepared in accordance with the National Envi ronmental Policy Act.
