RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA APPROVING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA AND RANCHO DEL REY PARTNERSHIP FOR THE LANDSCAPING
AND MAINTENANCE OF THE EAST "H" STREET PARK IN RANCHO DEL
REY
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Chula Vista that that certain agreement between THE
CITY OF CHULA VISTA, a municipal corporation, and RANCHO DEL REY
PARTNERSHIP, for the landscaping and maintenance of the East "H"
Street Park in Rancho del Rey
dated the 10th day of January , 1989, a copy of which is
attached hereto and incorporated herein, the same as though fully
set forth herein be, and the same is hereby approved.9~r
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of
Chula Vista be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to
execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Chula
Vista.

This Agreement is made and entered into as of the lOth day of

CNU~ VXlTI, a municipal co~ration of the State or California
(*City*), pursuant to the
A. Partnership Is the owner and developer of RanchoDel Rey,
a multi-year, multi-phase planlied conunity located within City.
B. City approved the firstphase of the development proposal
for the planned conunity ('SPA Is). The approval by City included
the Public Facilities Plan and Financing Analysis for SPA 1
('Facilities Plan'). The Factlit=tee Plan requires Partnership to
dedicate to the City land for a Dark identified as East she Street
Park (sParks). Perk is north Of last °.° ~treet and west of Paseo
Ranchero.

C. Partnership Is requiredby the Facilities Plan to prepare
a Raster Plan for Park. CityiS undecided about the appropriate
use of Park and certain publiOii:~,cllities which may be located in
the Park, such as a library ~.;:tire station. City has directed
Partnership to withhold the ~ration of the Master Plan pending
certain decisions by the City~lating to the use of the Park.
D. The land for the PartWill be dedicated to the City with
the recordation of the FlnaX/i[i'i for that area of the planned

Partnership desires to tnsureL~that this entrance presents an
attractive entry statement for the planned community and that
appropriate erosion control meaSures are taken to insure that the
undeveloped Park property is protected.
