HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1978-9220RESOLUTION NO. y `~ RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA SETTING DATES FOR PROPERTY TO RECEIVE UNDERGROUND SERVICE AND REMOVAL OF OVERHEAD FACILITIES - THIRD AVENUE UNDERGROUND UTILITIES DISTRICT NO. 108 The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore, by Resolution No. 8812, established an underground utility district on Third Avenue from "G" Street to "K" Street, and WHEREAS, it is now desired, pursuant to said resolution, to fix the date on which the affected property owners must be ready to receive underground service NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista that the following dates are hereby established ordering the property owners to prepare properties for receipt of underground utilities: 1. The property in the Third Avenue Undergrounding District 108 from "G" to "H" Street and from "I" to "K" Street must be ready to receive Under- grounding service on December 15, 1978. 2. The property in the Third Avenue Underground District 108 along the east side of Third Avenue between "H" and "I" Streets must be ready to receive underground telephone service on December 15, 1978. 3. Poles, overhead wires and associated overhead structures shall be removed within the Third Avenue Undergrounding District 108 from "G" to "H" Street and from "I" to "K" Street on July 1, 1979. BE IT FURTHE R RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista be, and she is, hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to all affected utility companies and property owners.
