The following trial traffic regulations have been in effect for eight
months:
Schedule III - Parking Prohibited at All Times on Certain Streets
Street Beginning at'
a. Bay Blvd. "G" Street
b. Fifth Ave. "I" Street
c. Palomar A point 260 ft.
St. east of Second
Ave.
Ending at Side
A point 50 ft. West
north
A point 60 ft. West
south
A point 350 ft. North
east of
Second Ave.
The elimination of parking on Bay Blvd. provides adequate sight distance
for vehicles on "G" Street
The elimination of parking on Fifth Ave. and Palomar St. was to provide
for Chula Vista Transit bus stops.
All parking prohibitions are operating as intended and there have been
no reported problems. It is recommended that these trial traffic regu-
lations be made permanent.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Approve resolution.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION The Safety Commission voted 6-0 on

made permanent.
