NO x ) At the meeting of July 25, 1978 the Council directed that a resolution be prepared urging the League of California Cities to support legislation to amend the State Codes which disallow any modification to structures which are moved into the City - that legislation be enacted to allow cities to require modifications to meet existing Code standards. The resolution will be available at the Council meeting. At the direction of the President of the League of California Cities, your resolutions have been assigned to the following League Committees for policy review. Resolution Re: Fair Distribution of the Sales Tax Regulation of iLlove-Ins Renter's Relief Committee Meeting Date Revenue and Friday, Taxation August 25 Community Wednesday, Development August 23 Community Wednesday, Development August 23 The meetings of the League Committees to consider Annual Conference resolutions and make preliminary recommendations will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the dates indicated above at the Burlingame Hyatt House, 1333 Bayshore Highway, Burlingame. (Transportation is available from the San Francisco Airport.} If you wish, you or your representatives will be most welcome to be present at the meetings to discuss the resolutions. The League Committees will also meet to review resolutions and make final recom- mendations on Sunday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m., at the Annual Conference in Anaheim, and you will again be afforded an opportunity to discuss your resolutions. This year, the General Resolutions Committee will meet at the Conference at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, September 25. Consideration of the resolutions by the General Assembly is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. The exact place of the meeting will be included in the Conference program.
