ITEM EXPLANATION (4/5TH'S VOTE REQUIRED YES NO X)
Robinhood Homes, Inc. submitted a request to vacate a 35-foot-wide
easement for road purposes granted to the City of Chula Vista by San
Diego Gas & Electric Company along the west side of their property
at 3650 Main Street.
The easement was granted at a time when there was a possibility of
extending First Avenue north from Main Street to Orange Avenue.
Since that time, development has occurred to eliminate the need for
a street at this location.
The Street Vacation Act of 1941, in accordance with the California
Streets and Highway Code, requires that a public hearing be held
to hear people in favor of or objecting to the proposed vacation.
A transparency is available for Council viewing.
