SUBMITTED BY Director of Parks and Recreation
ITEM EXPLANATION
(4/5TH'S VOTE REQUIRED YES NO X )
For the past four years, the City has leased property at 293 Madrona Street to house the
Senior Information and Referral Center. The lease is with Mark H. Money and Associates.
Present plans are to move the Senior Information and Referral Center to the remodeled taco
restaurant in Memorial Park about January 1, 1980. Accordingly, Mr. Money has agreed to
extend the Madrona property lease for a period of six months, then on a month-to-month
basis as required.
The renewed lease payments will be $274.50 per month, an increase of 5 cents per square
foot over last year's lease cost.
Staff recommends approval of the proposed lease extension.
