RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE TRANSFER OF
TRANSIENT OCCUPANCY TAX MONIES FROM THE SPECIAL
TRUST FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND FOR TRANSIENT
OCCUPANCY TAXES
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore by Resolution
No. 9353-A established a special trust fund for the receipt of
transient occupancy taxes, and
WHEREAS, said resolution provided that said trust fund
shall remain in effect and all monies held therein shall be
unallocated by the City to and until May 30, 1979 at which time
said trust fund shall terminate and said money shall be deposited
in the General Fund of the City unless appropriate alternative
provisions are adopted in the interim period, and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to clearly transfer said
funds to the General Fund account for transient occupancy taxes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Chula Vista does hereby authorize and direct the
Director of Finance to transfer monies previously held in the
special fund for transient occupancy taxes, account 403-3241,
in the amount of $210,559.73 to the General Fund account 100-3241
for transient occupancy taxes.
