RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA ADOPTING IMPL MENTATION SCHEDULE OF APPROPRIATE
TRANSPORTATION COrdT OL MEASURES (REGIONAL AIR QUALITY
STRATEGY IMPLEMENT ION PROGRAt!I)
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
re olve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City C uncil has heretofore by Resolution
No 8190, adopted on June 6, 1976, approved the Regional Air Quality
St ategy and Air management Process, and
WHEREAS, the Council, by Resolution No. 9043 adopted on
Ma ch 14, 1978, endorsed the Regional Air Quality Strategy Imple-
me tation Program, and
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Planning Organization now
re uests that the City Council take official action to implement
su h strategy by adopting the Transportation Control Measures
fr m the Revised Regional Ai Quality Strategy as shown on

employees. The program hould include actions
which are appropriate for ach jurisdiction from the
following list:
a. Designate a rideshar ng coordinator.
b. Actively promote rid sharing among employees.
c. Allow flexible worki g hours where necessary
to accommodate ride haring.
d. Provide free parking for ridesharers.
