seal on various streets, 1986-87 Program

Asphalt, Inc. was awarded, by Resolution 12661, the contract for placing chip
seal under the 1986-87 Program on various City streets. The contract is dated
August 22, 1986. The contract work is now complete.
RECOMMENDATION: That Council adopt resolution accepting the contract work.
BOARDS/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable.
DISCUSSION:
Asphalt, Inc. completed the placing of the chip seal on September 9, 1986.
The work was measured and quantities reconciled on September 29, 1986. A
final inspection was made on September 3U, 1986, and all work was found to be
completed in accordance with the specifications and to the satisfaction of the
City Engineer.
