BOARDS/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: N/A DISCUSSION: At the September 16, 1986 Council meeting, one of the items on the agenda was a hearing to review an action of the Board of Appeals approving a variance with regard to the height of a fence around a swimming pool. In reviewing your Ordinance No. 2039, we notice that one change is • necessary to reflect the most current date of your Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM), August 5, 1986. We suggest when changing this section of your ordinance that you use an additional statement after the FIRM effective date, such as "or any amendment thereof".
