Dear Mr. Lippitt:
This is to confirm that the City of Chula Vista, California, is
maintaining eligibility in the National Flood Insurance Program.
In reviewing your Ordinance No. 2039, we notice that one change is
• necessary to reflect the most current date of your Flood Insurance Rate
Maps (FIRM), August 5, 1986. We suggest when changing this section of
your ordinance that you use an additional statement after the FIRM
effective date, such as "or any amendment thereof". This will preclude
updating your ordinance if there are subsequent revisions to your flood
insurance study or maps.
Please send us a copy of your amended ordinance. If you have any
questions, please contact Suzanne Mooney at (415) 556-9840.,
Sincerely,
