received.
Sales Less
Bidder Unit Price x 2 Tax Trade-In Amount
Flexible Systems $58,442 = 116,884 7,013.04 2,500 121,397.04
Dew-Par Sales & Service 60,821 = 121,642 7,298.52 3,500 125,440.52
Haaker Equipment Co. 61,999 = 123,998 7,439.88 1,500 129,937.88
The bid of Flexible Systems meet specifications and is acceptable to the
Director of Public Works/City Engineer.
The units require 1000 feet of nigh pressure hose to operate the equipment.
The cost of the hose was not figured in tl~e budget estimate of $119,360 but
was included in the bid specifications. Therefore, the purchase amount for
the two units is short almost $2,050. Funds need to be appropriated from the
unappropriated balance of the Equipment Replacement Fund in the amount of
$2,050 to Account 705-7050-5565.
