Purposes for East "J" Street from Tsutomu Date, et al Cit En ineer via Director of Public Works ~' ~ SUBMITTED BY Y g G %~~ ITEM EXPLANATION (4/5TH'S VOTE REQUIRED YES NO x ) One of the conditions of approval of the Tentative Map for Casa del Rey Subdivision is for the developers~wners to construct offsite improvements on East "J" Street from the subdivision boundarv line to the future Paseo Ranchero and to acquire the needed right-of-way. The typical street section shall consist of 50 feet of pavement curb to curb within 66 feet of right-of-way. The required work by this developer consists of the complete improvements on one half of the street plus 8 feet of pavement and AC berm on the other side of ~tl1e centerline. The southerly half of the right-of-way was granted by the Chula Vista City School District and accepted by the City Council on October 31, 1978 by Resolution No. 9346. On December 11, 1978, Mr. Tsutomu Date, et al, property owners of the north half of East "J" Street granted the City of Chula Vista an easement for street purposes, 33 feet in width. This easement has been obtained for the City by the developers/owners of Casa del Rey Subdivision. A transparency is available for Council viewing.
