Amounts were budgeted in various City departments to finance CETA participant annual salaries that exceeded the maximum $10,000 allowed by the grant. This was based on salaries prior to cost of living increases. Pay rate increases to CETA participants effective from July 14, 1978 to June 30, 1979 will require an additional $8,000.00 for CETA-City share.
