The resolution as set f rth incorporates these provisions. x ) COMMENDATION: Approve the resolution. 1' 2; 3; 4; 5' DISCUSSION: Specifically, the resolution allows each candidate the option of filing a candidate's statement limits the number of words to 200 requires the City Clerk to reject any statement that contains obscene and vulgar language or language that may incite or cast ridicule on any person or groups because of sex, race, color or religion provides for the payment of the candidates' statements states that the City of Chula Vista (or School District) will be responsible for the payment of the Spanish translations - as stated in the Federal Voting Rights Act of 1965 (Public Law 94-73, August 6, 1975).
