FINANCI IMPACT
The tot 1 cost of this project is $801,250 but, upon its completion, it will return to the
City in terms of lease payments a minimum of $96,000 per year. Based on this minimum
rent, t e City's full cost would be amortized in slightly over eight years. It is anticipated,
however that under the terms of the lease agreement wherein the operator will be responsible
for pay ent of rent on the 5% of gross sales basis, the City should realize (in future years
at leas ) a monthly rent in excess of the $8,000 minimum. Funds for this project will be
derived from the following fund balances and will be carried as a loan from the City to the
Golf Co rse fund.
Special Capital Outlay Fund $515,115
Residential Construction Tax Fund 269,878
Transfer from PD-09 (Golf Course 16,257
