TITLE: Resolution ~>6f~ Ordering the vacation of an
open space maintenance easement in Rancho
Robinhood Subdivision

At its meeting on November 17, 1981, the City Council held a
pu lic hearing to consider vacating the open space maintenance
easement along the rear of Lot Nos. 89 through 93 of Rancho
Ro inhood Subdivision. At the close of the hearing, Council
directed staff to return with a resolution ordering said
va ation. It is my
RE Ol'4MENDATION: That the Council adopt subject resolution and
di ect the City Clerk to forward it to the County Recorder's
of ice.
BOARD/COMMISSION: Not applicable.
DISCUSSION:
On October 20, 1981, the City Council adopted Resolution No.
10 68 declaring its intention to vacate the subject easement and
se November 17, 1981 for a public hearing.
At the close of said hearing, Council directed staff to return
wi h a resolution ordering the vacation.
Th's easement vacation is in accordance with the Public Service
Ea ement Law of the State of California.
A ransparency is available for Council viewing.

s is to inform you that the open space maintenance easement along the rear
your property was vacated by the City by Resolution No. 10694 on
ember 24, 1981.
T e City Clerk will be forwarding the resolution to the County Recorder's office
f r recordation. After recording, any title search will reveal the relinquishment
o the easement.
T e City no longer has an interest in the slope maintenance and you, as the
p operty owner, will have complete responsibility of maintaining the landscaping.
Y u also have full use of the space available to you. However, I advise you
o tain any required permits for structures, etc. in accordance with the Chula
V sta Municipal Code.
A so, for your information, the open space lot immediately south of your property
w 11 still be maintained as in the past under contract by the City.
