(4/5ths Vote: Yes No X ) The Cit Council first considered the County's proposed food handlers' training requirement ordinan a on January 20, 19f31 and subsequently referred the ordinance to the Chula Vista Chamber of Commerce for their input and recommendation. On August 25, 1981, the City Council accepte a report and recommendation from the Chamber, which asked that the City Council adopt a ordinance establishing training requirements for all food handlers in the City. The Cou cil accepted the recommendation and directed that the appropriate ordinance be pre- pared f r City Council action. It is my RECOMMENDATION: That the ordinance be placed on first reading.
