SUBMITTE BY: Director of Parks and Recreation's ~ ~ (4/5ths Vote: Yes No X ) As the tcome of a City Council approved selection process, a sister and brother, Bridget d John Carney have been selected as the Security Residents for Rohr Manor, An Agre t between the City and the Carneys has been prepared for Council consideration. BOARDS &~COMMISSIONS: N/A Upon Co cil approval of the Security Resident selection process on August 25, 1981, an anno cement was sent to each City employee and an advertisement was run in the Star News for three (3) weeks. Twenty one (21) applications were received. On Sept r 17, 1981, a Selection Board canposed of the following members met to inter- view the applicants: Don Lindberg, City Attorney Gene Grady, Building & Housing Department Jim Davis, Parks and Recreation Department Candy Holliday, Personnel Department Sgt. Partch, Police Department The Irate iew Board interviewed fifteen (15) candidates. The other applicants either withdr or did not show for the interview. The interview Board selected the following four (4) candidates for my consideration: 1. Bridget and John Carney 2. Harry Caner 3. Lawrence and Elizabeth Cannan 4. Robert and Delores Baker Bridget Carney, the City's Park Warden, and her brother John, a San Diego Police officer, were th number one selection of four (4) Board members and the second choice of the fifth r. I irate iewed the four (4) candidates selected by the Board, and selected Ms. Carney and her bro er as the Rohr Manor Security Residents.
