NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby register its strong opposition to Senate Bi11 No. 462 (Zenovich) which would interfere with local home rule options which have been repeatedly upheld by the courts and the legislature for many years in the past. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista be and she is hereby directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the members of the San Diego County Legislative Delegation and to other appropriate representatives in the Legislature.
