RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA ORDERING VACATION OF PORTIONS OF MADRONA
STREET, LANDIS AVENUE AND CENTER STREET
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 9464, adopted on January 23, 1979,
notice of intention to vacate portions of Madrona Street, Landis Ave-
nue and Center Street in the City of Chula Vista was given, and
WHEREAS, Tuesday, February 20, 1979 at 7:00 p.m. was fixed
as the time and place for hearing any objections to such vacating,
and the Council having heard all interested persons.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Chula Vista that those certain portions of Madrona Street,
Landis Avenue and Center Street adjacent to Town Centre-Townsite
Tract No. 1 as shown on that map on file in the office of the City
Clerk, be, and the same is hereby vacated.

That portion of Center Street in Quarter Section 137 of Chula
Vista, according to map thereof No. 505, filed in the office
of the County Recorder, County of San Diego, State of California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of westerly line of
Lot 24 of said Quarter Section 137, and the southerly
line of the northerly 30 feet of said Lot 24 {also
being the intersection of the easterly line of Fourth
Avenue and the southerly line of Center Street);

IN THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA,
CALIFORNIA
1. The City Council of the City of Chula Vista on March 13,
1979 adopted its Resolution No. 9523 Ordering The Vacation
of Portions of Center Street, I•~adrona Street and Landis
Avenue in the City of Chula Vista, California.
2. The legal descriptions attached to said Resolution
describing the portion of said streets ordered vacated
were improperly drawn.
3. Said Resolution was recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of San Diego County, California as Document
No. 79-114857 in Book 79 page Nos. 591. 592.
4. The correct legal descriptions of the portions of said
streets ordered vacated are attached hereto marked
Exhibits "A" and "B" and by this Certificate are
substituted in palce of and instead of the legal descript-
ions previously recorded.
