HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1989-15417 RESOLUTION NO. 15417 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA ACCEPTING AN IRREVOCABLE OFFER TO DEDICATE REAL PROPERTY FOR STREET PURPOSES AND DEDICATING SAID STREET AS A PORTION OF "FOXBORO AVENUE" The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, on April 19, 1985, Gardner Investment Properties executed an Irrevocable Offer to Dedicate certain property for public highway to the County of San Diego, and WHEREAS, the offer was not accepted by the County at that time since the County generally does not accept such offers until the roadway has been improved, and WHEREAS, the road was later annexed to the City in conjunction with the Rancho del Sur property, and WHEREAS, Foxboro Avenue was constructed in conjunction with the Chula Vista Woods and Rancho del Sur Subdivisions and the street is used for access to these subdivisions and, as such, s.t.~ff feels it is now appropriate to accept said offer and ~ '.cate and name said street. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby accept an Irrevocable Offer to Dedicate Real Property executed by Gardner Investment Properties, dated April 19, 1985. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Chula Vista does hereby dedicate said real property for street purposes and dedicates and names said street as a portion of "Foxboro Avenue".
