e staff has recommended that an ordinance be adopted modifying the additional

t the present time, the position of the Downtown District Board of Directors
to reject any modification of the existing ordinance. The Finance Director

RESOLUTION NO. PCZ-82-C
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING TO
THE CITY COUNCIL THE REZONING OF PROPERTY AT 288 AND 290.
DEL MAR FROh1 R-3 TO C-0
WHEREAS, a duly verified application for the rezoning of property was
filed with the Planning Department by Joseph A. Casey, D.D.S. on October 23,
1981, application No. PCZ-82-C, and
WHEREAS, said application requested a change of zone of property at
288 and 290 Del Mar from R-3 to C-0, and
WHEREAS, the request is exempt from environmental review as a class 1(n)
exemption, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission set the time and place for a hearing
on said zone change, and notice of said hearing, together with its purpose was
given by the publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the City at
least 10 days prior to the date of said hearing, and
WHEREAS, a hearing was held at the time and place as advertised, namely
7:00 p.m., December 2, 1981, before the Planning Commission and said hearing was
thereafter closed.
NOW,, THEREFORE, 3E IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. From facts presented to the Planning Commission, the Commission finds
that public necessity, convenience, general welfare and good zoning practice
support the change of zoning for property at 288-290 Del Mar from R-3 to C-0.
2. The Planning Commission recommends to the City Council that said change
of zoning be approved.
3. That this resolution be transmitted to the City Council and a copy
