The applicant has requested a change in prezoning for 12.3 acres located in the County etween Palomar and Oxford Streets and immediately east of Industrial Boulevard and the MTDB right-of-way from C-C-P (Central Commercial subject to a precise plan) to I-L (Li ited Industrial). 2. On April 1, 1982 the Design Review Committee approved the site plan and architecture for 130,000 sq. ft. of industrial floor area for the subject property. 3. On April 27, 1982 the City Council approved an amendment to the General Plan changin the land use designation of the subject property from "Retail Commercial" to "Resear h and Limited Industrial." 4. A conditioned Negative Declaration issued on IS-81-21 for the previous prezoning to C-C- was adopted by the Council on June 16, 1981. No further environmental review is requ red. REC MMENDATION: Concur with Planning Commission recommendation. C. PCZ-82-F RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMT9ENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL THE CHANGE IN PREZONING OF APPROXIMATELY 12.3 ACRES AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF INDUSTRIAL BOULEVARD AND OXFORD STREET FROM C-C-P to I-L-P WHEREAS, a duly verified application for a change in the prezoning of property was filed with the Planning Department by J & J Investments on bruary 18, 1982, application No. PCZ-82-F, and WHEREAS, said application requested a change in the prezoning for approximately 12.3 acres at the southeast corner of Industrial Boulevard and rd Street from C-C-P to I-L, and WHEREAS, on March 24, 1982 the City Planning Commission adopted Resolution A-82-2 recommending a change in the General Plan of the designation of the s~bject property from "Retail Commercial" to "Research and Limited Industrial," ahd WHEREI4S, the City Planning Commission set the time and place for a hearing said change ire prezoning, and notice of said hearing, together with its purpose s given by the publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the City at least 10 days prior to the date of said hearing, and WHEREAS, a hearing was held at the time and place as advertised, namely 00 p.m., April 14, 1982, before the Planning Commission and said hearing was reafter closed, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found the change in prezoning would have significant environmental impact and readopted the Negative Declaration issued IS-81-21. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: 1. From facts presented to the Planning Commission, the Commission finds t public necessity, convenience, general welfare and good zoning practice support the change of prezoning for approximately 12.3 acres located between lomar and Oxford Streets, immediately east of Industrial Boulevard, from C-C-P I-L-P, as shown on attached exhibit. 2.
