HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1989-15381 RESOLUTION NO. 15381 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA AUTHORIZING INCLUSION OF RECLAIMED WATER LINE FOR OTAY WATER DISTRICT AS PART OF THE TELEGRAPH CANYON ROAD/OTAY LAKES ROAD CITY PROJECT The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, on October 18, 1989, the Otay Water District Board of Directors requested that the City include the design of a 16 inch reclaimed water main in Telegraph Canyon Road in conjunction with the design of the road improvements being performed by the City of Chula Vista, and WHEREAS, currently the City's project includes a new 24 inch water main which will be paid for by the Otay Water District and a new 20 inch water main which will be replacing an existing main in the old roadway which is being paid for by the City as part of the road relocation, and WHEREAS, it appears reasonable that the District's 16 inch reclaimed water line be included in the project and the City's design consultant on this project, VTN Corporation, can ~" "lude the water line as part of their design, but it will take .m approximately one to two additional months on the plans. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby authorize the inclusion of a 16 inch reclaimed water main as part of the Telegraph Canyon Road/Otay Lakes Road city project.
