RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMr'iENDATION: N/A DISCUSSION: After reviewing the written communication from the City of Richmond, the City Council recognized the seriousness of the problem involving commercial trucks and voted to join with the City of Richmond and other cities in seeking Legislative remedies both in the area of increased enforcement and increased driver training to develop driver skills to attempt to reduce the number of fatal and injury accidents involving such vehicles.
