The grates and guards will be used for the Third Avenue street improvements betty en "F" and "G" Streets. It i$ our DATION: That Council award the contract to Neenah Foundry Company. DISCUSSION: Proposal forms were mailed to six vendors with four responding as f llows: BIDDER AMOUNT Neenah Foundry Co. $ 8,520.00 Neenah, WI Alhambra Foundry 11,814.00 Alhambra , CA South Bay Foundry 12,168.00 National City, CA Acme Ornamental Works 15,384.00 Santee, CA The ow bidder, Neenah Foundry Company, meets specifications and their products are cceptable to the City Engineer. FISC L IMPACT: Funds required for the purchase, including sales tax, are $9,031.20. The unds are provided for in account 995-9950-BF02.
