On June 23, 1987, by Resolution 13111, the City Council approved the Tentative
• Subdivision Map for Chula Vista Tract 87-8. Associated items for said
subdivision are now before Council for approval.
SUBMITTED BY: Director of Public Works
RECOMMENDATION: That Council adopt resolutions a through d in the item

BOARDS/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable.
DISCUSSION:
On November 10, 1969, Earl and Wilma Duston and Norma Schlotte executed
irrevocable offers of dedication for street purposes for the future extension
of East Naples Street. Rancho del Sur now proposes to connect East Naples
Street to Medical Center Drive. It is now appropriate for the City to accept
these offers of dedication to provide right-of-way for the construction of
said connection.
Similarly, grants of easements for street dedication have been executed by the
Benevolent and Protection Order of Elks and the Sweetwater Union High School
District.
Also presented for Council approval are drainage and access easements executed
by the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Dale W. Gould, Rancho del Sur
and a sewer access easement executed by Rancho del Sur Subdivision. The above
easements are necessary to extend the storm drain or to provide access to the
sewer and storm drain being constructed by the Rancho del Sur Subdivision.
• A plat is available for Council viewing.
FISCAL IMPACT: None.
