On December 15, 1987, the City Council by Resolution No. 13383 awarded a
contract for kitchen improvements and the installation of new equipment at
Lauderbach Community Center in the City to Kuhler Corporation. The work is
now complete.
RECOMMENDATION: That Council approve the resolution accepting the contract
work .
BOARDS/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable.
DISCUSSION:
On March 11, 1988, Kuhler Corporation completed the kitchen improvements and
installation of new equipment at Lauderbach Community Center.
Improvements and equipment included new stainless steel countertops, new
cabinets, commercial grade dishwasher, cooktop, oven, broiler and a microwave
oven.
A final inspection was made on March l5, 1988, and all work was completed in
accordance with the contract specifications and to the satisfaction of the
Building Maintenance Superintendent and the Director of Parks and Recreation.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT:
I. Authorized Expenditure
Kuhler Corporation $17,500.00
($15,928.75 + 10% cont.)
II. Final Expenditure
Kuhler Corporation $16,373.95
III. Balance of Authorized Expenditure $ 1,126.05
FISCAL IMPACT: In addition to construction costs summarized above, the City
will maintain the facility.
