Accepting bids, awarding contract for two turf mower tractors, and appropriating funds therefor SUBMITTED BY: Director of Financeo~ REVIEWED BY: City Manager (4/5ths Vote: Yes X No ) On September 22, 1987, Council approved Resolution No. 13258 authorizing the emergency replacement of a turf mower with two Hustler 400 mowers for the Parks and Recreation Department. The Purchasing Agent requested and received bids on October 26, 1987, for purchase of the two turf tractor mowers. Acquisition is to be made from the Equipment Replacement Fund. RECOMMENDATION: That Council adopt the resolution awarding the contract to C. R. Jaeschke, Inc. and appropriate funds from the unappropriated reserve of the Equipment Replacement Fund. BOARDS/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable. • DISCUSSION: Bids were advertised and mailed to prospective vendors and two bids were received.
