ITEM TITLE: Resolution l,3 3 ~.~ Accepting agreement for repayment of
funds advanced for construction of de rred improvements in
"D" Street G~}"`-

During the construction of /street improvements in Las Flores Drive and "D"
Street, six property owners entered into letter agreements with the City to
install their deferred public improvements in return for an agreement to repay
the funds advanced for construction.
RECOMMENDATION: That Council:
1. Authorize the Mayor to execute the attached agreement between the City of
Chula Vista and Joe D. and Lucille W. Trevisani for repayment of funds
advanced for construction of deferred improvements in "D" Street.
• 2. Authorize the City Clerk to record said agreements.
3. Direct the Director of Finance to collect the funds and reimburse Gas Tax
Fund Account 250-3860.
BOARDS/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable.
DISCUSSION:
The City Council at its meetings on June 16, 1987, and August 11, 1987,
authorized the Mayor to execute agreements with five of the six property
owners for repayment of funds advanced by the City for deferred improvements.
Staff has now received the final agreement executed by the sixth property
owner.
FISCAL IMPACT: The following sum of money will be collected at a simple
interest of 7% over the next ten (10) years.
