RECOMMENDATION: That Council adopt the resolution accepting the easements for street tree and street purposes and quitclaim deeds for street tree and street purposes. BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable. DISCUSSION: On September 14, 1981, the property owners, Jimmie and Judi Shinohara executed the necessary documents granting easements for street tree purposes to the City. Said easements provide for a 7.5 foot easement along both sides of Brandywine Avenue and along the north side of Otay Valley Road adjacent to the subdivision. ~' On Septembet 14, 1981, the parties having record title interests executed the necessary documents to grant easements for street purposes to the City. ^ The owners are processing the quiet title that will correct an error in deed description which created a gap between the property line and the right-of-way line for Otay Valley Road. Upon completion of the quiet title action, the City would have contiguous right-of-way and street tree easements for the entire frontage along Otay Valley Road. ^ The easem ents granted for street purposes along Otay Valley Road together with the quitclaim deed will provide a half street width of 50 feet adjacent to the subdivision.
