Deputy City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista to facilitate the
execution of documents pertaining to the Mayoral
Election on November 3, 1981

The State Elections Code delineates specific deadlines for the
printing, distribution and mailing of all elections material.
In order to keep within the required time frames, it is my
RECOMMENDATION: that the City Council approve the resolution.
DISCUSSION:
The City Clerk submits all the election material to the
Registrar of Voters and is responsible for the publication,
translations and proofreading of all documents.
The resolution merely expedites the process of printing
and distribution of all the election data.
FISCAL IMPACT: This is included in the overall cost of
the election.
