SUBMITTED BY: Ci ty Manager e (4/5ths Vote: Yes NO~) The attached benefit package for Executive and Middle Management employees has been revised due to the addition of two new classifications and the creation of the cafeteria style benefit program. The Executive Group has been revised to include the Director of Public Works Operations, which is a new department head position. The Middle Management Group has been revised to include the Landscape Architect. . RECOMMENDATION: Adopt resolution BOARDS/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: N.A. DISCUSSION .. The major change to the Executive and Middle Management fringe benefit program is the creation of the cafeteria style benefit program. The Executive Group will have $1,800 and the Middle Management Group $1,300 to utilize for fringe benefits. With this benefit plan, employees select or purchase benefits from a group of available optional programs. .. FISCAL IMPACT The additional dollars required to provide the cafeteria style benefit program is included in the total compensation package provided to the Executive and Middle Management employees, which is within the Council guidelines. ~ ..
